THE GAIA ECOSYSTEM

Four pillars.
One integrated campus.

AI and advanced industry are scaling faster than the power and water systems that support them. Gaia’s planned campuses are designed to add new capacity while minimizing pressure on community resources.

Energy, water, technology, and discovery form the shared platform; advanced industries operate on top of and connect through that platform.

Industrial growth should strengthen, not strain, the communities around it.

01 / ENERGY & STORAGE

Powering what’s next.

Gaia’s energy platform is designed around on-site generation, storage, and resilient distribution to reduce dependence on constrained grid capacity. Commercial-scale U.S. sodium-ion manufacturing is a core industrial anchor of the campus model.

Sodium-ion batteries

America’s energy future should be built in America. Gaia’s U.S. battery manufacturing strengthens domestic supply chains and supports energy storage for the grid, AI compute, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.

The battery platform is designed around abundant sodium and renewable-carbon inputs, reducing reliance on constrained battery-material supply chains. The chemistry is designed to replace lithium and avoid cobalt, nickel, and conventional graphite. Domestic production and secure digital controls are central to the platform.

MANUFACTURE

From cells to systems

Manufacturing would span electrode coating, cell assembly and formation, module and rack assembly, and complete battery energy storage systems.

SECURE

Control and traceability

The security architecture includes U.S.-controlled battery management, authenticated software updates, component traceability, and lifecycle records.

DEPLOY

Built around critical needs

The facility is designed to include quality assurance and commissioning for stationary storage applications where supply security and serviceability matter.

02 / WATER

A resource. Renewed.

On-site water systems designed to treat, recover, and reuse water while minimizing demand on community supplies and utilities.

The proposed water platform includes treatment of PFAS-contaminated streams and recovery for reuse across campus operations. Where feasible and permitted, additional treatment capacity could support surrounding communities.

03 / TECH

The intelligence
that connects it all.

Gaia OS is the AI-enabled operating layer, designed to connect campus systems, coordinate resources, and give operators a shared view of performance.

From energy and water to storage and compute, shared data would help operators optimize performance, anticipate maintenance, and manage resources securely across the ecosystem.

04 / DISCOVERY PARK

Big ideas.
Real-world wonder.

Infrastructure with a front door people want to line up for. Gaia Discovery Park is conceived as a destination where the technologies shaping the campus become adventures people want to experience.

Through storytelling, immersive attractions, media, and live experiences, Discovery Park is designed to let families and students play their way into the science behind Gaia. Educators, industry visitors, and policymakers would have a place to explore it firsthand.

Designed to make Gaia a destination as well as a place of industry, the park would connect STEM learning, future careers, and community life through experiences worth coming back for.

CO-LOCATING ADVANCED INDUSTRIES

Built to work
as one.

Gaia’s campus model brings infrastructure and industry together to create new capacity while minimizing pressure on local resources.

Shared energy, water, and technology systems form the foundation for co-locating advanced manufacturing, AI compute, agriculture, aquaculture, health, and resource recovery. These are the industries the campus model is designed to support.

The goal is a closed-loop ecosystem where industries can exchange resources and recovered outputs find new uses. On-site generation, storage, water treatment, and reuse are designed to minimize pressure on local utilities, with surplus capacity intended to benefit surrounding communities where feasible and permitted.
